But Space Hulk has its own special atmosphere and romance, consisting of fear, tension, claustrophobia and brutal pathos. And in the «single» Space Hulk from Full Control AI behaves much more primitive, its maneuvers are almost always visible without any radars. And we can only arrange the “bloody angels” in the right passages in time, turn on overwatch and watch how they pathetically put the evil spirits.

Reaches ridiculous: in one of the missions, we are asked to block all points of the “spavna” of genocles or kill their navigation. As a result, the mission lasts a couple of minutes. Nobody, of course, does not go anywhere there to block (watch the Terminrators of the turtle moves along the corridors, too painful and painful!): We just put our fighters opposite these points, turn on Overwatch and, in fact, doing nothing, quickly bring the counter of the dead “strangers” to the desired mark.

Of course, sometimes the unforeseen happens: either the genocrat will still be able to get closer to the terminator, then the latter will jam the bolter or explode in his hands an overheated red-hot “Assault Cannon”. But this rarely brings great troubles: you can transfer the cube or restart the preservation so that your soldier beats the attack and gives back;You can spend command glasses to put the bolter in order and continue to mow the enemies. And even if one of the “bloody angels” perish, the rest, as a rule, easily cope with the task. And in the next mission, the «dead» miraculously ends up again – you must agree, a strange relief for a tactical game.

In such a situation, at least some adrenaline can only be obtained at the highest level of complexity, where there are no “saves”, but there are restrictions on the number of command glasses and for the total time to return all orders. Especially on later maps, where a certain variety in the usual scheme is introduced by the Space Marine Librarian) with their psi. But even there, sooner or later, the monotony takes its own ..

The promised 40,000 years are waiting?

All the difficulties arising during the passage are usually associated not with tactics, but with the dampness of the game itself. Here is an uncomfortable management that makes the mouse for a long time to choose the right direction of the fighter’s movement (and it happens that the latter still rises in the aisle as he pleases). There are departures. Some missions too confusedly explain what you need to do, or suddenly make you play for genocles, but do not allow you to advance further on the plot, and after rebooting they again entrust the detachment of terminators. One of the tasks because of the bug is completely impassable.

Multiplayer should have become salvation, but everything is far from perfect there. The network code is poorly optimized, so you have to wait for hours to wait for the opponent, and when the game still finds it, it turns out that he is already offline. There is no stated cooperative.

And indeed in Warhammer 40.000: Space Hulk There is no much of what the authors promised. That the authors will work on the mistakes, sate the game, and after some time they will release the promised version for iOS, after which everything that is missing will appear here, including the support of the cross-platform multiplayer. So far Warhammer 40.000: Space Hulk resembles a beta version tested at all the owners of personal computers who are accustomed to all. The fans of the table, most likely, will find their charm here and will appreciate a well -reproduced atmosphere here. But for everyone else, this is, unfortunately, a passing game: it has a too monotonous “single”, a poorly working multiplayer, there are not enough for a lot, but the bugs are above the roof.
